On January 14, 2010, Barran Liebman was recognized for winning the 2010 Legal Marketing Association Northwest Your Honor Award in the category of Promotional Events for their 2009 Annual Employment & Labor Law seminar. The presentation was held in Seattle, Washington. Barran Liebman's seminar was judged on creativity, concept development, objectives and results. This was Barran Liebman's first entry and first win for the inaugural award.
"The award is a mark of excellence for us by an association that is at the top of the marketing game" says Ed Harnden, Barran Liebman's Managing Partner. The Legal Marketing Association (LMA) was founded in 1985, and is recognized as the authority for law firm marketing. The LMA Northwest Chapter was founded in 2002, and holds the only regional awards program of its kind in the legal marketing industry, called the LMA NW Your Honor Awards. These awards distinguish law firms, law-related organizations and service providers who set new standards for innovation in finding, developing and retaining profitable business.
"The firm's teamwork is what won this award," notes the firm's Director of Marketing, Client Services and Events, Traci Hopfe. With the annual event filling to capacity every September, nearing 700 attendees, the entire firm participates to ensure the 4-hour seminar exceeds even the highest of expectations.
