Portland, Oregon -- Barran Liebman LLP proudly supported the 5th Annual Oregon Pro Bono Fair and Awards Ceremony on October 27. The event was held at the Oregon Historical Society in Portland and featured MC Gerry Gaydos and keynote speaker Honorable Adrienne Nelson. The Fair was preceded by two free CLEs, one on Unemployment and the other on Domestic Violence. The Fair boasted over 20 Pro Bono organizations, including the Campaign for Equal Justice and the Classroom Law Project.
The Pro Bono Fair is a part of Pro Bono Week, Oregon's official Pro Bono celebration. Pro Bono Week runs from October 25th to the 31st and is organized in part by the Oregon State Bar, Legal Aid Services of Oregon, The Oregon Law Center, and the Multnomah Bar Association.
